The 2026 CX-5 showcases the latest evolution of Kodo: "Soul of Motion" design, with a more modern stance. An additional 4.5 inches provides increased rear leg, knee and headroom, along with a notably larger cargo space. The new CX-5 also offers an available 15.6-inch integrated centre touchscreen — the largest ever in a Mazda — with Google built-in and enhanced connectivity features. A redesigned cabin minimizes physical buttons, shifting key controls to intuitive app-based interfaces, touchscreen inputs and steering-wheel controls for a more seamless experience.
The 2026 CX-5 launches with Mazda's Skyactiv-G 2.5 four-cylinder engine, which produces 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard i-Activ AWD.
