“ Was having some doubts about getting a new vehicle due to Edmonton dealership staff encounters at Mazda & Honda (wanted to trade a 2020 KIA I was having many issues with)…decided to go out to Leduc & try LA Mazda after checking out their staff list online. Soooo glad I did! Was met casually by Luke Casey in the showroom where I’d gone in to ask about taking a test drive in a Mazda CX30 (& testing the waters of the dealership staff too). “ After having horrible experiences at other dealerships in and around Edmonton I decided I would give LA Mazda a shot. From the moment we walked in, we felt really comfortable and not pressured at all. Spencer Love (Our salesperson) asked us all the right questions, made sure everything was handled correctly and made everything super easy. After spending some time with Spencer, we could tell he was someone that valued honesty and integrity which bodes well for the whole dealership. After we test drove our car, we had a chat with the sales manager and he was also super easy to talk to and deal with. He was honest and walked us through the whole deal step by step and at no point in this decision did we feel pressured. “ Around two months ago “Haider” Gave me a shout in the kindest way possible asking me if I was looking for a vehicle still just so happened that I was within two days haider had me approved Surprisingly and trust me, my credit isn’t the greatest so it was a shock. No one else’s fault but mine it took me a couple months due to license problems but haider Didn’t give up on me and somewhat motivated me to get it done quicker so I did once I had my license figured out and Everything their mechanic shop was really busy so they were back on orders, including putting the GPS in my car And I was stuck still paying for Ubers, but Thankfully, Anthony gave me a call. Explain the situation gave as deepest. Apologies got me to come in to pick up a loaner until my car was ready no matter how tense or confrontational I was with them. They always kept their cool had good customer service. I will definitely be recommending all my friends to this dealership And anybody else who ask me ask for Anthony or Haider You will not regret it ”

“ I'm sure this review will be hidden. I recently applied for acceptance for a car loan thru Car Loans Canada (I have crappy credit) I was referred to LA Mazda. Things seemed to be going well & I was told I was approved. The only thing I didn't agree with was providing my T4's, which only the CRA and Employers can ask for. Despite this I was told I was approved & was even provided with loan documents to sign, which I did. Then the day before delivery I was told the vehicle was inspected and it had "issues" & they couldn't in good conscience sell it to me. I thought great an honest car dealership. I was told they had another vehicle, which was 2 years newer & the same "deal" would be honoured, but it would take about a week and a half to get. Again, not a problem. Then a few days later I received a text saying they were looking for another vehicle (I had been told they already had another vehicle) and asked for twice the down payment we had already agreed to. When I questioned them about this I was told it was "the bank". I know I have bad credit and it would be difficult for me to get a loan. But this was now sounding more & more suspicious, like the old "bait & switch" technique, and the person I was dealing with started to sound like he was upset I wouldn't change the deal that had already been agreed to. I will not be recommending Car Loans Canada or LA Mazda. ”

“ My fiancé I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership recently, and we are disappointed with how we were treated when we needed help. At the time of purchase, the staff were so fantastic and friendly- they assured me that if I had any issues, I could contact the dealership. The vehicle had passed inspection with excellent results, so I felt confident in my purchase and trusted that I would be supported if something unexpected happened. Unfortunately, my vehicle suddenly broke down and would not start. My fiancé and I tested the battery, attempted multiple jump starts, and did everything we reasonably could before reaching out for assistance. While I understand that mechanical failures can happen and I am not blaming the dealership whatsoever for the breakdown itself, I believe this could've been handled differently.. When we called the first time, we were initially told to contact roadside assistance and that towing would be covered, so they gave us a number to call. When we did, we were informed that there hadn't been any updates to the file and we weren't even listed in the system as the owners of the vehicle. When we called the dealership back looking for help and clarification, we were then told that we didn't have roadside assistance coverage at all. (Which ended up being incorrect) We were passed from person to person, repeatedly told to "just get a jump start" despite explaining multiple times that this was clearly a more serious issue. We became quite frustrated. Instead of listening, it felt like we were dismissed and made to feel like this was entirely our problem. After getting home and reviewing our paperwork, we found that our coverage includes roadside assistance, paid towing, and rental vehicle benefits during a covered breakdown.. I'm not sure why after asking repeatedly for our file to be pulled up we were still denied help.. Everything was pretty frustrating and we were left to figure everything out ourselves while stranded.. We ended up paying for a tow to the dealership, and then waited outside for an uber to eventually bring us back home. One of the managers was quite unprofessional at times.. Rather than showing any concern for a customer whose recently purchased vehicle had broken down, we found he was dismissive about our concerns. At one point he asked my fiancé over the phone how long he planned to argue about the issue. He told him that he wasn't a mechanic, so he didn't know what he expected him to do about the situation.. We were simply expecting the same level of care and professionalism that was shown to us during the purchase process. Instead, we felt dismissed, passed around, and left to deal with the situation ourselves. Fortunately, the service department was able to identify the issue and all is working well again, which we most certainly appreciated! Just everything happening prior made this experience a lot more stressful than I feel like it should've been 🙁 ”

“ Bought a vehicle in September and have only driven it 4000 kms. Turbo went in it. Paid almost 6000 dollars in repairs. When I purchase the vehicle was told it was good and inspected. It is not a new vehicle but I asked company if they could help with cost of repairs. Was told if vehicles with turbo engines are not driven enough that can happen to them. They told me they could not help. So I guess they started the vehicle everyday when it was parked in their lot. I doubt it. Poor excuse. They could have offered some sort of compensation. ”

“ I hate leaving poor reviews, but my experience with this dealership was disappointing. We had worked out a deal on a truck, and I was prepared to move forward. I just needed a few final questions answered before making the 3-hour drive and even took a day off work to complete the purchase. Unfortunately, I found myself repeatedly having to follow up for responses, and the lack of communication became frustrating enough that I started looking elsewhere despite really liking the truck. After thinking it over during the weekend, I re-engaged this week hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, I encountered the same slow communication and continued delays. When I raised my concerns, the terms of the original deal we had agreed upon the previous week suddenly changed. When I questioned that change, I was then told there was another pending offer on the truck. I can only speak to my own experience, but I would caution potential buyers that communication may not be a strong point here. If you’re expecting timely responses or a straightforward process, be prepared for potential delays and changing circumstances. ”
